I don't know about you but I'm currently suffering from post holiday blues. I had so much fun spending downtime with family and friends I with I could hit a reset button that takes us back to October 1st and do it all over again. Thank you for your continued trust and support it truly means the world to me. Afterglow Skin Studio exists because of this amazing community, and I’m so grateful to care for your skin year after year. As we head into the new year, I have a few important updates to share with you openly and transparently.
Update #1 Pricing + Payment Update
Many of you may not realize that I haven’t increased my service prices in six years. My goal has always been to offer luxury wellness services in the desert at pricing that feels accessible to our community while still allowing me to sustain my livelihood. My service menu ranges from $89 to $325 and no matter the price point or whether your service is 30 or 90 minutes, your skin will always receive thoughtful, customized care.
With that being said credit and bank card processing fees have continued to rise each year, and absorbing these costs has become increasingly difficult especially when they often come out of the gratuity so many of you kindly + generously leave me. Beginning this year, a 3.5% processing fee will be applied to credit or bank card payments for service totals over $200. If you’d prefer to avoid this fee, Zelle is the best alternative. (Cash is also accepted, though exact change cannot always be guaranteed)
This adjustment helps me continue offering high-quality treatments while keeping my pricing as fair and balanced as possible.
Update #2: Pre-booking & Deposits
When pre booking your next appointment, a $25 deposit will be collected to secure your spot. My cancellation policy will remain the same: you may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting your deposit. Thank you to everyone who prebooks their appointments and schedules in advance your thoughtfulness allows me to plan my time more intentionally.
I completely understand that life happens, and I always strive to be flexible with illness and emergencies. In most cases, I typically grant up to two courtesy last-minute reschedules per year. After that, deposits will be withheld for last-minute changes. This policy helps protect my time while keeping availability fair for everyone.
